For your convenience, Metrohm has collected various
methods dealing with titrimetric wine analysis
in the Wine
PAC. As an example, the determination of sulfurous
acid (sulfite) according to several internationally
recognized methods is described.
Heavy metals as nickel, cadmium, lead
or copper (latter often used in various forms as a fungicide)
can perfectly been analyzed in wine by voltammetric
methods.
Several anions and cations can be
determined by ion chromatography each
in one run. These include for example chloride, nitrate,
sulfate, phosphate and lactate as well as sodium, potassium,
calcium and magnesium. Moreover organic acids and biogenic
amines can also be analyzed using ion chromatography.
